Judaism holds many beliefs about the afterlife from Torah through modern literature. We will explore how the rabbis have been grappling with such topics as: Sheol, the death of the physical body versus the spirit, the resurrection of the dead, reincarnation, tikkun of the soul and more. Using text and stories, we will see how multifaceted and useful this learning can be for our own understanding of the many varieties of Jewish belief.
