Because the Torah is written without vowels many words are open to differing interpretations and meanings. This ongoing class will begin with Genesis 1:1 and the participants will delve into the text and unpack the importance of each word. Knowledge of Hebrew is not necessary and people are encouraged to bring their own English or Hebrew Chumashim (books). Books will also be available at the synagogue. Facilitated by Reb Ari Shapiro. IN PERSON ONLY.
