Book discussion, High Holiday reflections and moving Selichot service with Rabbi Kahn and Chazzan Abramson.
During the evening program, Rabbi Kahn will lead a conversation about preparing for the High Holy Days and participants are encouraged to read the book, My Jewish Year, 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew, by Abigail Pogrebin, as a lead-in to the discussion. Individually boxed desserts will be handed out at the conclusion of the program to take home.
This evening promises to fill you up in every way, nourishing your minds with knowledge and understanding, your spirit with music and prayer, and your bodies with delectable desserts.
8:15-9:00 PM: In Sanctuary or Livestream
Participate in a spiritual, musical service marking the beginning of the High Holy Days.
