Presenter Bio:  Rabbi Cookie Lea Olshein is the "Resident Rabbinic Scholar" of Congregation Ner Tamid, the largest Reform synagogue in the state of Nevada. She spent the past 8 years as the Rabbi of Temple Israel of West Palm Beach, Florida. Before attending Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Rabbi Olshein practiced law in Las Vegas for almost 11 years. She has been a Scholar-in-Residence/Rabbi-in-Residence speaking in churches and synagogues many times, and is currently combining her passion for law and Judaism by writing her first book on the intersection of Torah and the American legal system.   

The ReJEWvenate series is designed to unlock Jewish hearts and fill them with fun as they explore different aspects of Jewish culture.  Learn from Rabbis and educators about a variety of fascinating topics during this exciting series on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. Beginning Tuesday, February 9 and continuing through March 30, 2021.
