Description:  Explore some of the most enduring messages of the prophets: to answer the call to leadership, to stand up for the oppressed, to call the people to the highest of ideals and to keep pressing on no matter how difficult. 

Presenter Bio: Rabbi Heather Miller is the founding rabbi of Keeping It Sacred, an international center for accessible, relevant, and empowering encounters with sacred texts and rituals.  She is an advocate, preacher and author of Re(SOUL)utions: A Practical Guide for Self-Repair. She was a named a Liberty Hill Foundation Leader to Watch in 2013, named a Jewish Federation of Los Angeles Edah Community Fellow in 2016, and named a CLUE-LA Giant of Justice in 2018. She is an executive board member of the Women’s Rabbinic Network, and the Interfaith Council of GRSM, and a member of the CCAR, PARR, World Congress for GLBT Jews, and the Wellesley Racial Justice Initiative.
