Free for Temple Sinai Members • $18 for Non-members
Join renowned educator and historian Uri Feinberg, teaching live from Israel, for a dynamic 10-session Zoom course that traces the full arc of Israel’s history—from its ancient roots to the rapidly evolving reality of today, including the post–October 7th period.
Participants may join in one of two ways:
• Group Zoom viewing at Temple Sinai in the Chapel
• Zoom in from home (link provided upon registration)
Each 75–90 minute session offers an engaging, continuous lecture format followed by a short Q&A. Uri welcomes participant questions between sessions as well.

About Uri Feinberg
Uri Feinberg has been a Jewish educator for over 30 years. Born in the U.S. and raised in Jerusalem, he served in the IDF and holds a Master’s in Contemporary Jewish Studies from Hebrew University.
Uri is a seasoned tour guide and speaker, having led educational trips for synagogues, federations, and interfaith groups across Israel and Europe. He’s also taught North American teens in Israel and served as Interim Director of Education at Temple Israel of Boston.
In the wake of October 7th—and with two daughters serving in the IDF—Uri has taken an active role in Israeli civil society, while continuing to teach and speak globally.
He lives in Modi’in and is active in his Reform congregation, YOZMA. Uri is passionate about connecting people to Israel’s story and strengthening Jewish identity through education and engagement.
