David received his BA from The Johns Hopkins University, where he was a fraternity brother of Rabbi Geoff Huntting.  It's a friendship that has stood the test of time.  David received his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law.

Millstone was a career lawyer in international law.  He has served on multiple non-profit organizations' boards including nationally ADL (Anti-Defamation League) where he is a Lifetime National Commissioner and serves on the Litigation Oversight Committee.  Locally, he is a former board member of the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, and he wrote a monthly column for the Jewish News.
