Tribute Funds

Temple Sinai offers several funds as ways to earmark your donations for specific uses. Many congregants contribute to these funds as recognition or thanks for a special event or special occasion.  These contributions may be made for a variety of reasons including:

Anchin Fund Anchin Fund - This fund provides assistance in meeting Temple Sinai Dues, Religious School Tuition and Assessments for those members unable to fully afford to pay their Temple Sinai dues, tuitions and assessments.
Building Maintenance Fund Building Maintenance Fund - The principal and earnings are to be used to retire existing or future mortgages as well as provide for capital improvements or unusual building or property expenses.
Children's Library/Library Fund Children's Library/Library Fund - The fund shall be used to purchase books, library materials and capital materials as needed for the Temple Library.
Fanchon D. Rosenstein Social Action Fund Fanchon D. Rosenstein Social Action Fund - The fund shall be used to promote activities with a social action focus.
Gan Fund Gan Fund - The purpose of the fund is to provide the funds for student scholarships and for the enrichment of the Gan program.
Chazzan's Discretionary Fund Hazzan's Discretionary Fund - The Hazzan shall determine the use of the funds for needs and projects consistent with the religious, educational and charitable purposes of Temple Sinai.
Horay Sinai Fund This fund helps underwrite family programs and community building activities in the Religious School.
Marx Educational Fund Marx Educational Fund - The funds shall provide the basis for programs and activities for the education and cultural enrichment of the Confirmation Class.
Mortgage Endowment Fund Mortgage Endowment Fund - The earnings from this endowment fund are to be used to pay for current and future mortgages.
"Pick-Me-Up" Rides Program Fund "Pick-Me-Up" Rides Program Fund - This fund shall be used for transportation of members over 65 or with special needs that are otherwise unable to attend temple events.
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund Rabbi's Discretionary Fund - The Rabbi shall determine the use of the funds for needs and projects consistent with the religious, educational and charitable purposes of Temple Sinai.
Rabbi Geoffrey Huntting Fund for Educational and Artistic Programming Rabbi Geoffrey Huntting Fund for Educational and Artistic Programming - A fund that shall be used to provide various educational and artistic programs for the congregation.
Religious School Director's Discretionary Fund Religious School Director's Discretionary Fund - The Director shall determine the use of the funds for needs and projects consistent with the religious, educational and charitable purposes of Temple Sinai.
Robert A. Malkin Facilities Enhancement Fund Robert A. Malkin Facilities Enhancement Fund - The fund shall be used to enhance the facilities for the benefit of Temple Sinai members.
Robert L. Baseman Fund for the Enhancement and Promotion
      of Temple Sinai Robert L. Baseman Fund for the Enhancement and Promotion of Temple Sinai - This Fund is to provide a financial base for the development and publication of effective professional marketing tools and documents that enhance, support and publicize Temple Sinai's Ritual, Education, Social, Fund-raising, and Membership recruitment programs.
Scholar in Residence Fund Scholar in Residence Fund - The fund is to be used to support Temple Sinai's annual Scholar in Residence program.
Sinai Men's Club Landscaping and Beautification Fund Sinai Men's Club Landscaping and Beautification Fund - This fund shall be used to enhance the property occupied by Temple Sinai on Lockwood Ridge Road by planting and maintaining trees and shrubs and other improvements as suggested in the Landscaping Master Plan.
URJ Camp and Israel Scholarship Fund URJ Camp and Israel Scholarship Fund - Scholarship funds to send children to URJ camps and NFTY Israel trips.
Youth Fund Youth Fund - This fund shall be used to fund youth activities.
